Quick-Start Instructions: How to Use the Size Chart Generator
Step 1: Provide Your Garment Details
- Category: Choose your garment type (e.g., Tops, Bottoms).
- Style #: Enter a unique code or ID (e.g., ST-102).
- Base Size: Pick your reference size (e.g., M).
- Date: Confirm or set the current date.
- Fabric Type: Note the material (e.g., cotton).
- Units (IN/CM): Select inches or centimeters.
Step 2: Manage Your Sizes
- Add Size (+): Create a new size column (e.g., S, M, L).
- Remove Size (–): Delete the most recent size column.
- Enter Measurements: Fill in each size column’s text boxes with the correct measurements.
Step 3: Configure Points of Measure (POM)
- Select/Deselect: Include or exclude each Point of Measure (e.g., Chest, Waist).
- Edit Values: Type or update measurements for each POM under each size column.
Step 4: Use Action Buttons
- CLEAR ALL SIZE(S): Removes all sizes from column
- SELECT ALL POM(S): Selects every POM (if supported).
- CLEAR ALL SPEC(S): Erases measurement data but keeps columns and POM labels.
Step 5: Add or Remove POM & Build Chart
- ADD NEW POM(S): Add more Points of Measure beyond the defaults.
- RESET ALL POM(S): Revert to the original POM list, removing custom entries.
- REMOVE A POM(S): Delete selected Points of Measure.
- BUILD SIZE CHART: Finalize or generate your complete chart (download, save, or print).

- Plan Sizes First: Decide your size range before adding columns.
- Double-Check Measurements: Ensure accuracy to avoid fit issues.
- Save or Build Regularly: Prevent data loss by updating frequently.
- Use Clear Buttons Carefully: Know the difference between clearing data and removing entire columns.
